GWU Students to Exhibit Communications Portfolios

Show to Feature Seniors’ Projects Through May 9

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—From portrait photography and videos to advertisements and journalistic writing, the outstanding work of Gardner-Webb University communications students will be on display on campus through May 9.

The GWU Department of Communication and New Media’s annual Senior Show in the Communication Studies Hall is open to the public.

“The senior show gives students the opportunity to showcase their best work and to also network and interact with visitors,” offered Dr. Amanda Bridges, assistant professor of graphic design. “The students will also have resumes, business cards and additional pieces on display for visitors to take with them.”

Featured students will include Jenna Ballinger, Jonelle Bobak, Melody Bubar, Hannah Covington, Kanisha Fowler, Yasmin Ghasemy-Doost, Colin Helms, Dave Hodges, Brittney Johnson, Kelli Kline, Allison Parrish, Chelsea Price, Jessi Saltijeral, Spencer Scott and Brooke Smith. Exhibits will include a variety of samples of graphic design, journalism, photography, public relations, and video and film.
