GWU Set to Begin Fall 2011 Semester

semester startBOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Summer graduation is behind us, and the Fall 2011 semester at Gardner-Webb is right around the corner. Listed below are several need-to-know dates coming up on the Gardner-Webb academic calendar .  Also, check out the Fall 2011 class schedule for more specific information regarding the semester’s course offerings.

Traditional Undergraduate Day Program
Residential students are allowed to move in on Sunday, Aug. 21 and Monday, Aug. 22 from 8am-6pm. Students should go to their respective residence halls to check in. Students living in the apartments or suites should check in at the Clubhouse, next to Lake Hollifield.

Monday, Aug. 22 – Nursing Student Orientation
Wednesday, Aug. 24 – Day Program classes begin
Tuesday, Aug. 30 – Last day to drop, add, or register for Day Program classes

GOAL Program
Wednesday, Aug. 17 – GOAL classes begin
Wednesday, Aug. 24 – Last day to drop, add, or register for GOAL classes

Graduate School/Graduate School of Business
Thursday, Aug. 18 – Graduate Student Orientation
Monday, Aug. 29 – Graduate School and Graduate School of Business classes begin
Monday, Sept. 5 – Last day to drop, add, or register for Grad/Grad School of Business classes

School of Divinity
Monday, Sept. 5 – School of Divinity classes begin
Friday, Sept. 9 – Last day to drop, add, or register for School of Divinity classes

For all programs: The last day to withdraw with a “W” is Wednesday, Sept. 21.
