Gardner-Webb University to Hold Casting Call for Upcoming Play Production

Theatre Department Plans Auditions Feb. 16 for Roles in “The Servant of Two Masters”

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—The Gardner-Webb University Department of Theatre Arts will hold auditions Feb. 16 for roles in the upcoming comedy production of “The Servant of Two Masters.”

Members of the Gardner-Webb and greater community are invited to contact the play’s director, Dr. Chris Nelson, at cnelson2@gardner-webb.edu to schedule a 10-minute audition time from 6:30-9 p.m. Parts are available for a variety of roles.

“The Servant of Two Masters” is a comedy originally composed in the 1700s by the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni. Gardner-Webb will present the show April 7-11. No rehearsals for the production will be held during Gardner-Webb’s spring break week, March 7-11, or during the University’s Easter break March 24-28.
