Gardner-Webb University Hosts International Chef on Oct. 12

Flavors of the Czech Republic to be Shared by Chef Lukas Jenista

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Sodexo Dining Services will present a unique culinary event on the campus of Gardner-Webb University next week. The international food services corporation is planning a complimentary food tasting, “Flavors of the Czech Republic,” on Monday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. in Tucker Student Center with international chef Lukas Jenista.

As part of Sodexo’s Global Chef program, Jenista will prepare a complimentary hors d’oeuvres reception in Stewart Hall for all attendees. On the menu are a range of delectable delights, including samples of soups, starters, main dishes, and dessert.

Jenista has served as an executive chef with Sodexo since 2013. His responsibilities include menu creation and high-profile catering. The Global Chef Program is a monthlong international chef residency that provides an opportunity for Sodexo’s top chefs worldwide to travel to different countries and share authentic international cuisine with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
