Gardner-Webb University Fall Commencement Set for Dec. 15

Ceremony Planned to Celebrate Conferring of Degrees 

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb University will award over 250 degrees during the 2014 fall commencement exercises on Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. in the Paul Porter Arena of the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center, located on the campus of Gardner-Webb University.  Approximately 270 students have earned degrees and a majority of those graduates will don their cap-and-gown to celebrate their hard work.

The ceremony will honor students who have successfully completed undergraduate, degree completion, and graduate programs. Various students will participate in the convocation through prayer, scripture reading, and delivering commencement speeches. Selected graduates will be honored with the Degree Completion Program Academic Award, the Most Outstanding Male Graduate Award, and the Most Outstanding Female Graduate Award.
