Eos is a dystopian story set in a future where criminals are exiled to towns designated for different types of crime. Main character, Eos Dawn, is banished to a town of thieves after being caught stealing in her hometown. She discovers the legend of the Skeleton Key, a device that can unlock anything. In order to unlock the box containing it, Eos must go out in search of the set of keys that have been hidden by the Skeleton Key’s creator throughout the five exile towns. As she sets out on her journey, she is motivated by her greed and desire to escape the town of thieves. However, along the way, she discovers that she has the ability to help others as well.

“The flow of the story is quite natural, and the universe represented is vivid and imaginative,” says one reader on GoodReads. “This book deserves all 5 stars!”

Guberman hopes to inspire readers with her first book. She hopes that readers will be able to relate to characters in the story, just as she does as a reader.

“My favorite thing is the interaction with readers,” states Guberman. “I love being approached and told how much someone loved reading Eos, or how shocked they were during certain scenes, or even simply when a reader tells me that they have a favorite character. It shows me that they’ve grown invested.”
