Charie King to Speak at Upcoming Dimensions Program

Crossroads Worldwide Speaker to Share with GWU Students

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. –The Dimensions program at Gardner-Webb University welcomes wife, mother, and speaker Charie King. The program will take place on Tuesday, April 9 9:25 a.m. in the Stewart Hall of the Tucker Student Center.

Her husband, Clayton King, is founder of Crossroads Worldwide and a Gardner-Webb graduate. In addition to homeschooling her two boys, she travels and speaks both individually and with Clayton at conferences, churches and universities. King’s latest book, 12 Questions to Ask Before You Marry, has sold nearly 30,000 copies.

“Charie celebrates and embraces her life as the wife of well-known evangelist,” said Dr. Tracy Jessup, vice president of Christian Life and Service and senior minister at Gardner-Webb. “However, in recent years, God has given Charie her own platform as a speaker, effectively communicating the transformational and unconditional love of Christ. We are honored to have her share her story with the students at Gardner-Webb University.”

Gardner-Webb University’s Dimensions programs are free and open to the public. The goal of Dimensions is to enhance the spiritual, intellectual, and cultural life of the University and also to promote a sense of community. Dimensions programs are held on Tuesdays at 9:25 a.m. in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center (LYCC). More information is available at 704- 406-4277.
