Academic Excellence Celebrated at Gardner-Webb

Students to be Honored at Dimensions April 29

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – As an institution of higher education, Gardner-Webb University prides itself on world-class academics and superior classroom learning opportunities.  GWU students who exhibited excellence in the classroom this past academic year will be recognized at the Dimensions program on Tuesday, April 29 at 9:25 in Stewart Hall, located in the Tucker Student Center.

“In addition to recognizing students’ commitment to leadership, service and volunteerism, Gardner-Webb University is proud to also recognize the academic achievements of our students,” said Dr. Tracy Jessup, vice president for Christian Life and Service and senior minister to the University.  “Every academic discipline in the traditional undergraduate program presents an award at our annual Academic Awards Day.”

Gardner-Webb University’s Dimensions programs are free and open to the public. The goal of Dimensions is to enhance the spiritual, intellectual and cultural life at the University and also to promote a sense of community. Dimensions programs are held on Tuesday at 9:25 a.m. at Gardner-Webb. More information is available by calling 704-406-4277.
