A: Room changes typically occur during the third week of each semester. Dates are published at the beginning of each semester.
A: The only pets that are allowed on campus are fish. The aquarium must be less than 10 gallons.
A: Due to fire code regulations, open flame of any kind, including candles or incense, is not permitted in the residence halls. Grills must remain 50 ft. from any building while in use. Also, gas grills/propane tanks may not be stored within 50 ft of any building.
A: Both are permitted in the residence halls as well as in individual rooms. Refrigerators can be no more than 4.0 cubic feet. In order to reduce the use of electricity, Housing & Residence Education endorses the use of Energy Star rated appliances such as MicroFridge. This is a special refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven combination appliance that is available to Gardner-Webb University students through Standards for Living. See their website to learn more about how you may rent or purchase a MicroFridge and have it delivered to your room just prior to your arrival on campus in the fall.
