Dr. Clifford Jones, Sr. has served as the senior minister of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte since 1983.  He also is a published author and former president of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. www.friendshipcharlotte.org

Celebration Week 

John Isley is the assistant director of Camp Tekoa staff in 2013. He has spent over ten years in youth ministry at Bethlehem UMC in Waxhaw and First UMC in Hendersonville. www.camptekoa.org

 

February 3 – John Kasay

John Kasay spent 21 seasons as an NFL kicker and currently ranks seventh all-time for field goals made, having played with the Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints.  He currently is the athletic director at Charlotte Christian School. www.charlottechristian.com

 

February 10 – Steven Porter

Steven Porter is the Global Missions Coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  A strategic and innovative former CBF field personnel, he previously served as the director of Touching Miami with Love, a flagship urban ministry. www.thefellowship.info

 

February 17 – Tracey Mitchell

Born in adverse circumstances, Tracey Mitchell is acquainted with the emotional chaos that accompanies abandonment and rejection.
