Check-In and Move-In – Start your day by picking up your orientation folder and other goodies and then moving into your campus housing.

Coffee and Conversation – In between moving into your campus housing and checking in with the New Student Orientation staff, a complimentary refreshment station will be provided for all students and family members.

10:30am

First Year Student Testing:  ASL, ENGL and MATH placement testing for students who are required to test for placement in these courses.  You will be notified via the advising forms on WEBBCONNECT and your GWU email if you need to test.

11:00 am

The Noel Center for Disability Resources will be hosting an Orientation session for all new students and their family members.

Lunch and Dinner will be on your own today to allow time for you to move in and make those last minute shopping trips.  The GWU Cafeteria will be open as well as the Food Courts in the Tucker Student Center.

Welcome Session – A big BULLDOG WELCOME awaits you!!

WELCOME All NEW TRANSFER STUDENTS!  --- Check-in for all NEW TRANSFER students!

·         Obtain Check-in folder, pick up t-shirt, and have your GWU ID card made.  ID cards must be carried with you at all times.  This card is your access to your campus housing, meals, library, DIMENSIONS, sporting and cultural events, and the Suttle Wellness Center.

·         Students who do not have a room assignment should report to the Housing and Residence Education staff on the 2nd floor of Tucker Student Center for information about housing.

·         You may now proceed to your assigned Residence Hall, pick up your key in the lobby and begin your check-in with Housing and Residence Education.  Your RA (Resident Advisor) will check you in, and you will receive a room inventory form to list any problems with your room.
