GWU Plans Inaugural Alumni Reunion Weekend

A weekend of fun and fellowship is just ahead as the GWU Office of Alumni Relations coordinates the inaugural Alumni Weekend June 23-25 at Gardner-Webb.

The classes of '67 and '92 will gather in Boiling Springs to celebrate the 50-year and 25-year anniversaries as alumni of their beautiful alma mater.

The Alumni Relations team is planning an unforgettable weekend of reminiscing and celebrating their most beloved GWU memories. The schedule offers special lectures with a few prized professors, a service opportunity, campus tours and activities, and a Sunday morning worship gathering.  The weekend will include two nights of lodging, five meals, plus transportation to events and concierge assistance for Saturday afternoon entertainment (like a round of golf or a spa visit).

On Friday evening, a reception and welcome dinner is planned, followed by a day of activities and leisure on Saturday. Saturday evening will feature dinner and dancing at The Banker’s House in Shelby, N.C. The festivities will culminate on Sunday after a worship service and opportunity for class photos.
