Did you know...

WGWG has been a broadcast service of Gardner-Webb University since 1974. WGWG "Radio For The People" is a 50,000 watt non-commercial station that specializes in AAA and Americana music with special features of Blues, Bluegrass Music, Christian, News, Sports, and a variety of Educational and Inspirational programs.

What is Triple A and Americana Music?
Triple A stands for Adult Album Alternative. That simply means that you're going to hear artists that you might not hear on commercial adult rock stations. And we also play several tracks from an album instead of just the single. Americana includes bluegrass, alternative country, folk, singer-songwriter, and additional roots music genres, including both old-time and classic country. Listen and hear the difference!

How can my business be heard on WGWG?
Do you own or are you part of a business that is looking for a cost-effective way of getting your company's name and information to thousands of people? You can do that, plus help a public service radio station at the same time through underwriting with WGWG.
