Husband-Wife Band to Perform During Dimensions on March 29

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—Gardner-Webb will present the acoustic folk-pop music duo Jenny & Tyler during the University’s Dimensions program on March 29. The event will begin at 9:25 a.m. in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center (LYCC), and it is free and open to the public.

Jenny and Tyler Somers, who married after originally meeting as students in their home state of Delaware, share their songs and stories with a candor that seeks to captivate, inspire and transcend age and cultural divides. Their music, which blends a diverse set of stylistic influences, includes the recent release of their first label project, a 12-song album titled “Of This I’m Sure.”

The Nashville-based couple has performed several shows at Gardner-Webb in recent years and has toured the United States for the past decade. Their current tour is scheduled to bring the couple back to Cleveland County for a house show in Shelby in June.
