American Psychological Association The APA website features areas for both the public and for members. The Public Area features links to APA journals, books, and the APA Monitor (the APA newsletter). There are also feature articles, student information, and a site index.

American Psychological Society The APS is the nation's leading society dedicated solely to scientific psychology. Links include news, membership, conventions, publications, the APS Student Caucus, and Psychology Links.

Mental Help Net MHN features web resources on Disorders & Treatments, as well as Professional Resources. These areas, organized by topic, feature information on symptoms, treatments, online resources, and support organizations. Online resources are guides to web links, each of which is annotated and rated. A Reading Room is also featured.

National Institute of Mental Health The NIMH website features a Reading Room of public information, such as information on specific mental disorders. There is also information about NIMH, its research activities, news & events, and the institute's grants and contracts.

Online Psych Online Psych offers links to sources of information on topics featured in its list of Mental Health Forums. These resources include online articles, books, interactive tests, databases, and directories of treatment providers.

Counseling

American Counseling Association ACA is the world's largest organization that represents counselors. The ACA website has news about professional counseling, association information, and a webpage for students in counselor education.

American School Counselor Association The ASCA website is the home of the School Counselor World Wide Web Service. In addition to information about the organization, membership benefits, and events of ASCA, there is an extensive collection of links to resources for school counselors.

North Carolina School Counselor Association
The NCSCA features a list of current officers with contact information, as well as a bulletin board of upcoming events. There is also a collection of links to counseling organizations, government agencies, and other resources.

World Counseling Network The WCN is an interactive community designed specifically for the Counseling profession. It features news, chatrooms, job listings, a catalog, and web links.
