of interest to medical professionals. Topics

Nursing Center "A Medical Multimedia and Specialized Information
Research Center." A HUGE site (256K) that has nursing reference,
online journals, medical literature, case studies, national boards & review

Merck Manual Merck's award-winning
website features the online version of The Merck Manual of Diagnosis
and Therapy. Also featured is a Health Infopark, news, products, career
opportunities, topics for health professionals, and research.
National
Center for Environmental Health NCEH's
goal is to provide better health for all
people. To that end, the center has information
on its research and prevention programs
here. The NCEH also makes online versions
of its factsheets and brochures available.
National Institutes
of Health NIH conducts research to combat
disease. In addition to an overview of the
Institutes' organization and mission, there
are Health Information Resources, as well
as Scientific Resources that include online
library catalogs and literature resources.

Library of Medicine Part of the National
Institute of Health, the NLM is the world's
largest biomedical library. Visitors to
this website will find general information
about the library, its programs, news, access

Theta Tau International The Honor Society
of Nursing, Sigma Tau Theta has information
on its webpage about its programs, membership,
and publications. Of particular interest
to nurses is the online library, which includes
the Registry of Nursing Research. There

Visible Human Project The project is
a digital image library initiated by the
NLM, which "... is creating complete, anatomically
detailed, three-dimensional representations
of the male and female human body." NOTE:
