The John R. Dover Memorial Library was built and dedicated in 1974 to meet the demands of an expanding student body. It provides Gardner-Webb University students with the educational resources they need to succeed. The Library provides access to over 80 databases including the subjects of literature, religion, music, psychology, nursing and allied health. Library faculty offer individual and group library instruction and reference assistance to ensure students are using these resources effectively.
The Library offers two non-password protected computers for community patrons. These computers provide access to all of the Library's databases and resources. Check-out privileges are also available to community patrons at a cost of $25.00 per year. Gardner-Webb alumni and local ministers receive these privileges at no cost.
