What is your favorite thing about Boiling Springs?
The friendly, small community. No matter where I go, I always get a friendly smile or wave, even if they do not know me (yet)!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' Jeremiah 29:11 This verse has become my inspiration for life; knowing that God has a purpose for the things that I do in my life is what motivates me.
I was a member of SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise), FOCUS (The Fellowship of Christians United in Service) small groups (Bible Study), and played Intramural softball. I was also a part of Delta Mu Delta (International Honor Society for Business Majors) and Alpha Sigma Lambda (National Honor Society).
Spending time with family and friends, Riding 4-Wheelers, Working Out (especially Martial Arts), and reading a good book.
- Great Professors...I never once had a professor that didn't try to do ALL that he/she could to see that I succeed. If I ever needed extra help, my professor and even other professors were always so willing to help me in any way that they could.
- Friendships Made...there is nothing like my college roommates!
- Christian Atmosphere...having the opportunity to grow in my faith and not feel as though it is pressured. God provides free will; so having this experience and the numerous opportunities at GWU helped me to grow closer with my loving Father
