All New Students are required to attend all Orientation sessions! In the unlikely event of a conflict between a scheduled Orientation event and another campus function, there is no conflict! Orientation events are NOT optional and take precedence over any other event.

Don’t lose it…

Keep your GWU ID card with you at all times. Know where your Orientation Pocketpiece is located. Oh, and don’t forget ---- a pencil and paper will come in handy.

All students bringing vehicles on campus must purchase Parking Decals. Parking decals are sold for $75 per year and are purchased at the University Police table located in Bost Gym during Orientation check in.

Cell phones and pagers need to be turned off or switched to vibrate during all Orientation Sessions.

Meals for students are free. Family members may purchase meal tickets in Bost Gym during registration.

*Freshmen: Any required Orientation event that you do not attend will be counted as an absence in your University 101 class.
