Mentoring


Students who participated in the Forum were mentored by Lilly Program leaders, divinity student counselors, as well as local ministers and church members in their local church.  Groups of Lilly students came back to campus for meetings with mentors, and also took advantage of invitations to visit classes and attend special lectures offered by the Divinity School.

Program personnel maintain contacts with many of the students and their mentors and follow the progress of the students as they continue to grow in faith and ministry.  See the referral links for email addresses of former Lilly leaders.

In all of these program activities, local church leaders, parents, ministers, and youth express profound gratitude for the opportunity to explore ministry, as well as encourage the growth in faith and commitment to Christ among young people.  The work of the Lilly Program continues through the relationships formed, ongoing commitments to present and future ministry, and the community among participants now extended to others for the glory of God.
