Dr. Warren Calhoun Robertson
Cal comes to Gardner-Webb University Divinity School as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies after four years as Lecturer in Old Testament at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He holds a BA degree in History from the College of Charleston, in his native state of South Carolina, an MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a ThM from Harvard Divinity School, and MPhil and PhD degrees from Drew University. Cal served as the Editorial Services Director for the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture while at Drew. He served as Associate Pastor for the East Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, and the First Baptist Church in Bristol, TN. Finally, Cal frequently preaches and presents scholarly papers. Cal and his wife, Cathy, have two boys, Warren and Samuel.
