Core Curriculum
The M.Div. core gathers around four basic subject areas in the body of divinity: biblical studies, historical/theological studies, ministry studies, and spiritual formation. Every student in the School of Divinity, irrespective of his/her ultimate ministry objective, is required to complete this core of study. The common core insures that every graduate of the School of Divinity operates out of a solid foundation in the practice of ministry, whether that practice takes the form of pastor, Christian educator, church musician, chaplain, missionary, or other ministerial vocation.
