Admissions Requirements

 

Master of Divinity

To initiate your application for the School of Divinity for the Master of Divinity Program,
please submit the following:


  1. Submit a completed paper Application for Admission with a $40 non-refundable application fee.

  2. Request official transcripts of all previous baccalaureate and any graduate-level work be sent directly to the School of Divinity Admissions office
  3. Submit three letters of recommendations (forms provided)
  4. Submit Church Approval Form (form provided)
  5. Christian Pilgrimage Statement (1-2 page statement about your conversion, call to ministry, and vocational objectives in ministry)
  6. Submission of proof of satisfactory criminal background record check for all states of residence for the past five (5) years with a residence verification statement.

 

Doctor of Ministry

To initiate your application for the School of Divinity for the Doctor of Ministry Program,
please submit the following:

 

  1. Submit a completed paper Application for Admission with a $40 non-refundable application fee.

  2. Request official transcripts of all previous baccalaureate and graduate-level work be sent directly to the School of Divinity Admissions office
  3. Submit three letters of recommendations (forms provided)
  4. Submit Church Approval Form (form provided)
  5. Ministry Essay (10-15 page double-spaced essay discussing applicant’s call to ministry, theology of ministry, history of ministry, goals for ministry, and how he/she be-lieves earning the Doctor of Ministry will enrich his/her ministry)
  6. Submission of proof of satisfactory criminal background record check for all states of residence for the past five (5) years with a residence verification statement.

 

International Applicants (All Programs)

In addition to the standard application procedure, the following items must be submitted:

 

  1. Statement of Financial Responsibility
  2. Affidavit of Support
  3. Certificate of F-1 eligibility
  4. TOEFL - Minimum scores: 500 paper based; 173 computer based; 61 Internet based
  5. Evaluation of Foreign Educational Credentials (World Evaluation Service - www.wes.org)
  6. VISA copy
