In the fall of 2003, Gardner-Webb University partnered with Brunswick Community College to offer the GOAL undergraduate degree completion program to area students. Brunswick represents the most distant GOAL center for Gardner-Webb and is the only private university represented in the area. The president of Brunswick Community College stated in a news release that the presence of Gardner-Webb’s GOAL program related to the school’s mission to provide opportunities for their students.
