Master of Arts in Elementary Education
The master’s program in Elementary Education includes thirty semester hours in four components: professional, instructional, elective, and capstone. This program builds upon the most current body of knowledge of best practice and practical expertise (theory and practice) relevant to teaching in K-6. Location When all documents have been received, the Dean of the Graduate School and the chair or coordinator of the program area will evaluate them. Students are notified of their admission status as soon as possible after completing the admissions process. Because of the confidential nature of some items required for admission, the University reserves the right to reject any applicant without stating a reason.
In order to obtain graduate level licensure, students must have or be eligible for initial licensure in Elementary Education.
This program is offered on the main campus in Boiling Springs, NC, as well as our Statesville Campus.
