Davis Hospital Foundation Scholarship Information

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Student is resident of and works in Iredell, Alexander or Wilkes counties
  • Student is enrolled in at least 6 hours in the BSN Program
  • Student must take at least one class at the Statesville Campus (face to face) during their program
  • Student agrees to work as a nurse in one of the above-listed counties for one year for each year (or the equivalent) of funding for full-time study

Award Amount:

The award amount may vary depending upon the student's GPA based upon the following matrix:

3.51 to 4.0 $200/hr.

3.01 to 3.5 $175/hr.

2.50 to 3.0 $150/hr.

Application Procedures:

Application forms are available from the SON website, Financial Aid Office, GOAL Admissions or the School of Nursing at the main campus and the Statesville campus. Completed applications should be submitted according to the information on the application. New students may apply prior to any semester, continuing students need to apply prior to fall semester or after any break in enrollment.

Scholarship awards will be based on the student's GPA, and the available funds. Funding for the summer term is dependent upon availability of funds.
