Environmental Science Major Requirements
The major in Enviornmental Science offers two tracks:
(1) Environmental Chemistry with a minor in Chemistry
(2) Ecology with a minor in Biology
The basic course requirments must be satisfied, specially with the following courses:
BIOL 111, CHEM 111, ECON 203, and MATH 105.
Classes required are:
CHEM 251 and 301 (8 hours)
ENVS 209, 260, 310, 320, and 420 (16 hours)
MATH 151 (4 hours)
PHYS 201 and 202 (8 hours)
CHEM 391, 292, 491, or 492 (1 hour)
Additonal Requirement: ECON 405 (3 hours)
The minor in Chemistry is required and inlcudes CHEM 112, 201, 202, and 302
The basic course requirments must be satisfied, specially with the following courses:
BIOL 111, CHEM 111, ECON 203, and MATH 105.
Classes required are:
BIOL 201 (4 hours)
CHEM 112, 201, 202, and 251 (16 hours)
ENVS 209, 260, 310, and 410 (11 hours)
MATH 151 (4 hours)
Additonal Requirement: ECON 405 and PHYS 201 (7 hours)
The minor in Biology is required and inlcudes BIOL 111, 202, 207, and 402
