Chemistry Major Requirements
A major in Chemistry requires 34 semester hours. The major courses are:
Organic chemistry (201, 202)
Analytical chemistry (301, 302)
Inorganic chemistry (351)
Physical chemisry (401, 402)
Biochemistry (422)
and two semesters of chemistry seminar.
Additional Requirements:
Caluclus I (Math 151) and Calculus II (Math 152), Chemistry 112, Physics 201-202 or 203-204.
Chemistry 111 and Biology 111 or 104 should be taken in the core.
Chemistry chosen as a secondary major must meet all the requirements of the primary major.
