Writing Center Mission Statement

We believe that writing is a learned skill that must be practiced and applied. Our goal is not only to workshop papers but also to teach students the skills needed to articulate themselves well through writing.

The Writing Center is a resource for all students, regardless of major or level of study. Our consultants are fellow students who have a solid grasp of the English language and enjoy assisting others. They are available to help you develop your ideas and polish your writing skills, as well as to offer insight into the writing process.
