Dr. Lawrence's areas of expertise include video production, film, scriptwriting, and theater.

Dr. Lawrence worked a number of years in the Los Angeles film and television industries. He is a member of both the Writers and Directors Guilds. He has written several 2-hour movies for network television: "Child of Glass" and "The Sky Trap" for Walt Disney Productions and "Missing Children: A Mother's Story" for Warner Bros./CBS. He also wrote and directed "Truce In The Forest," a multiple-award-winning Christmas film. He has also been active in the theater, directing plays for the Downey Civic Light Opera, Whittier-La Mirada Civic Light Opera, Burbank Civic Light Opera, and Asheville Community Theatre. Of special note, Dr. Lawrence has just published his third novel, "The Surrounding."
