Faculty Spotlight - Dr. David Carscaddon

Since 2008, Dr. David Carscaddon has served as dean of the School of Psychology and Counseling at Gardner-Webb University.

 

Dr. Carscaddon received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Psychology from UNC-Asheville, a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Morehead State University, and continued his education at the University of South Carolina, where he received his doctorate in Counselor Education.

 

Dr. Carscaddon has worked at GWU since 1990. In 2000, he was the recipient of the most outstanding faculty award. He also has numerous professional publications and presentations.

 

He is currently a member of the American Counseling Association, International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors, Chi Sigma Iota, and Psi Chi.
