Tutorials with Audio & Closed Captioning

The tutorials below include audio, so turn on your speakers or plug in your headphones. If the captioning is on and you wish to turn it off, click the "x" in the upper right-hand corner of the captioning overlay.  If captioning is off and you wish to have it on, click the small "cc" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the tutorial you are viewing.

Making Sure Your Computer Is Ready

  • Browser check (05:14) - this will check your computer to ensure you are using a compatible browser, have cookies enabled, have Javascript enabled, are allowing pop-ups from Blackboard, and have the correct version of Java.  It is imperative to complete the Browser Check from all computers you will use for your online courses.
