Graduation Information
May Commencement will be held on Monday,May 14, 2012 at:
- 10:00 a.m. for Traditional Undergraduate programs, graduating students should arrive by 8:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. for GOAL and BSN programs, graduating students should arrive by 1:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. for Master and Doctoral degrees, graduating students should arrive by 5:00 p.m.
In addition, a Baccalaureate Worship Service will take place on Sunday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Paul Porter Arena of the Lutz Yelton Convocation Center. Graduates and their families are cordially invited to attend this service which is in keeping with Gardner-Webb’s strong Christian heritage. The President’s Reception is in Bost Gymnasium and will immediately follow the Baccalaureate Worship Service. A separate invitation for the President's Reception will be sent to you in the mail.
This webpage will be updated to reflect the most current graduation information as it becomes available. Look for information about the August Commencement in May 2012.
May Commencement Details for Graduating Students:
**As a matter of routine procedure, all individuals who plan to attend the Gardner-Webb University Commencement Service will be subject to electronic screening by University Police. Bags and other items you wish to bring into the facility will also be subject to search prior to entering. Please note that cow bells, air horns, and other noise makers will not be permitted. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated in an effort to make this event as safe and dignified as possible. Thank you!**

To the right are links to the lists of students who have completed or are completing their degree requirements, and are participating in the upcoming commencement ceremonies. If your name appears on the list, your application for graduation has been received by the Registrar's Office. It is currently being audited, and your advisor will be notified if any problems are found.
Please note that full names are listed. These names will be used in the bulletin and to order the diplomas. Letters will be sent with information concerning commencement exercises and times.
Applications for graduation must be received in the Registrar's Office according to the deadline dates published in our Academic Calendar for each program. Check with your advisor should you have questions about submission of your application for graduation.
