Graduation Instructions/Deadlines

Summer Commencement will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:00 am for all students. This webpage will be updated to reflect the most current graduation information as it becomes available. Look for information about Fall & Spring Commencement in September & March respectively.

**As a matter of routine procedure, all individuals who plan to attend the Gardner-Webb University Commencement Service scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, will be subject to electronic screening by University Police.  Bags and other items you wish to bring into the facility will also be subject to search prior to entering.  Please note that cow bells, air horns, and other noise makers will not be permitted.  Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated in an effort to make this event as safe and dignified as possible.  Thank you!**

**The Graduation Fee no longer covers the charge for the Cap & Gown. You will be required to pay for the Cap & Gown when you order it from Jostens. For ordering information, click here.**

To the right are links to the lists of students who have completed or are completing their degree requirements, and are participating in the upcoming commencement ceremonies (One ceremony at 10:00 am in August, and December; Two ceremonies at 10:00 am & 3:00 pm in May ). If your name appears on the list, your application for graduation has been received by the Registrar's Office.  It is currently being audited, and your advisor will be notified if any problems are found.

Please note that full names are listed. These names will be used in the bulletin and to order the diplomas. Letters will be sent with information concerning commencement exercises and times.

Applications for graduation must be received in the Registrar's Office according to the deadline dates published in our Academic Calendar for each program. Check with your advisor should you have questions about submission of your application for graduation.

From SC : Take I-85 to Gaffney, SC. Take Hwy 150 North from Gaffney to Boiling Springs, NC.
From Shelby , NC : Turn on Hwy 150 from Hwy. 74 to Boiling Springs,NC.
