o∙ri∙en∙ta∙tion (noun): introductory session –
a meeting or series of events at which introductory
information or training is provided to somebody embarking on something new.
The primary purpose of Orientation is to provide a basic introduction to college life and offer resources for the challenges students will encounter. Orientation will establish the foundations upon which students will build over the next four years.
Questions you may have: What do you need to know before starting classes? Will Orientation help you? Where do you go for your Gardner-Webb ID? How does your meal plan work? What is the Kennel? No problem!
At the MANDATORY NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION, we will be here to welcome you to campus and answer those questions, as well as all the “fun” ones.Orientation Dates
