A Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management will equip you with a strong understanding of the always-evolving healthcare industry environment and the principles and ethics of business, while also offering opportunities for internship experiences, to prepare you for a career as a manager in the field.  

Degree Completion Admissions

Through your Healthcare Management studies, you will develop an understanding of the basic concepts of human relations management, organizational behavior, and operations management.

 

As part of your degree, we will also equip you with a broad range of general business knowledge in functional areas such as accounting, marketing, and management.

 

Coupled with an emphasis on Christian business ethics and classroom knowledge of the business environment, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management will offer you opportunities for reality-based education through an internship or practicum in the field.

 

A degree in Healthcare Management offers the groundwork for business and health-related careers in hospitals, doctor offices and other healthcare organizations. Many of our recent graduates are also pursuing additional studies in the GWU Graduate School of Business and at other colleges and universities in the region.

In addition to the University’s required general education and prerequisites, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management through the Degree Completion Program requires 33 hours in the major, 15 of which must be completed with the University.
